Christmas Goodness - Gingerbread man

Hi fellow stampers!

The second card we made at our October stamp club is a Christmas Card. This is one of my favorite stamp sets and DSP from our 2016 Holiday catalog.

I think this little gingerbread man is so adorable! You can also use the punch for the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set.  With the Cookie Cutter Christmas you can also makes some darling Santa's, a child in Native Alaskan dress, a teddy bear and a deer!  Oh dear?  So many possibilities!

The card base is Crumb Cake cardstock, the background layer is Whisper White and on top of that is the Candy Cane Lane DSP.

This DSP is so popular that I noticed yesterday when placing an order that the inventory was low on it.  But never fear, I'm sure they will be getting more in.  We still have a ways to go in the holiday card making season.

On top of that is a paper doily affixed with Snail.

Layered on top of the doily is a Crumb Cake banner with a Whisper White banner on top of that.  Both banners are cut with the Triple Banner punch.  The Crumb Cake banner is 4" x 2" and the Whisper White is 1 -1/2 by 3-3/4".  The sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas is stamped in Real Red.

These two stamp sets pair so beautifully together!  With the coordinating DSP it's just hard to top!

The Whisper White banner is stamped in Real Red.  The cute little gingerbread boy is stamped in Crumb Cake.  We used Dimensionals to pop him up from the card and attached the candy cane with a glue dot.

The candies are also stamped in Real Red on a scrap of Whisper White.  The candy cane is fussy cut and the 1/2" circle punch was used on the starlight mints.  One of the mints has a Dimensional underneath it and the bottom one is attached with a glue dot.

The ribbon was wrapped around the top of the card and affixed together, where they meet, with a glue dot or two. Then a 3-1/2" piece of ribbon tied around the first ribbon in the center.

Make sure when stamping with the photopolymer stamps that you used your Paper Piercing mat to get a sharper image.

So simple and pretty quick to put together!
