Since relocaing to a new city, I've been wanting to find ways to meet new people.  One of those ways was to start going to a Stampin Up card class.  I've gone three times, am meeting new women each time, who share my love of making cards.

Generally,  in the past, I've just gotten my supplies from local stores and ideas from card that I have received or the internet.  Now I have a new source. We meet once a month in her home.  The great thing about it is that she has everything all ready cut out and ready to go.  All we have to do is put it together!  Usually we make about 3 cards.  Here are the one's I've made so far:

These were the cards I made at the last class.

These are the first two Stampin Up cards I made.

The second class I attended was a fancy folds class.  This was a lot of fun! I'm not too creative so I can use all the help I can get.  My only wish is that we would get directions, so if I want to duplicate it later, I wouldn't have to go through the measuring.

This is a pocket card, another favorite!

This one, so elegant, would make a  beautiful wedding card.

Well that's it for now.  Hope you like some of these ideas!
About 10 years ago I went to a stamping class with a friend of mine from work.  Didn't think it would amount to much, just something to do for fun.  And it has been fun.  Now  I have a craft room dedicated to this hobby. I love making cards for my friends and family. I've made my own Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving cards for the past few years, when I've had more time on my hands.

I've bought a Cricut and a Cuttlebug to give my cards more creativity.  I don't have much creativity, so I usually get an idea from the internet or a magazine and then adapt it to what I have.  I found a good place to get ideas is Bing when I typed in Cuttlebug ideas.  More come up than I can ever used.

Here are just a few of the cards I have made recently.
