Today's "Tuesdays At Two" features the "Well Suited" Suite from the January - June 2021 Mini Catalog. I love this suite! Guess I'm just a pushover for masculine stamp & die sets when they come along.
There is so much you can do with this stamp and die set. I had more fun coming up with ideas for shirts, sweaters, tuxedos, etc.
Here is today's video, if the video does not show up on your mobile device click here:
I made a bunch of cards, the one of the plaid and suspenders reminds me of my dad. He always wore plaid shirts and red suspenders. Makes my heart smile to think of him.
Dad's plaid
Army Fatigues
Flamingo Hawaiian
Hibiscus Hawaiian w/lapels
Pinstripe Suit
Tweed Suit
Argyle Sweater
Polo Shirt
Ladies cardigan
Tuxedo
Belted Plaid
Sport shirt & tie
I also had to make a military card to honor my son who was in the Army. It was fun to make a bunch of different cards. I still have a few more ideas floating around in my imagination.
I used a few different technique's. The flamingo Hawaiian shirt I created my own lapels by cutting a piece of paper down the center and inch or so and folding back, the cutting little wedges for the lapels, since the other side of the cardstock is a different pattern.
The last sport shirt is the only one that I used one of the "Handsomely Suited" stamps from.
The polo shirt I embossed with Tasteful Textile embossing folder, to give the color that knit look that you find on golf shirts.
I love that you can buy the whole suite with one number if you choose. Of course as always when you buy the bundle "Handsomely Suited" you save 10%. Below are the products in the suite that I used. Hi friends, It's been a while since I posted. The last of March and April, so far, have been eventful. I had a dear uncle and cousin, both passed away on the same day. They were uncle and nephew to each other. My favorite uncle, on my mom's side, was 97 when he pass. My cousin, was 87. I am close with one of his daughters. Ironically last year at my dad's funeral I handed her a card for her birthday at my dad's funeral. This year, at her dad's funeral, she hand delivered one to me. My birthday rested between both of their funerals. So I was gone for a week for the funerals and visitations. After I got back it took me a week to recoup, due to my chronic fatigue. Well, I rested up enough to attend Stampin' Ups Onstage Local in Minneapolis! What a blast! (I'm still recouping) Lots of fun new products to play with and got the NEW 2017-2018 catalog . I was able to place my Pre-Preorder! Demonstra...
As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I have been using Blogger to show photos of my creations and the product used in them. I've been very frustrated trying to get them lined up side by side. For months, I have literally spent hours at a time trying every conceivable method trying to get it to work, and I'm fairly computer literate. I have even created a database in Access with forms to enter my Stampin' Up! supplies, which was much easier than trying to get my photos into Blogger lined up. Today, after watching a video on YouTube by Roberto Matthews I came up with this. He uses html/code and I would really prefer something a little easier and quicker. This is a video tutorial on what I came up with. It uses Microsoft Word and Blogger. I hope you find this helpful. Hi everyone, I know it's been a long time since I've posted. Had a lot going on in my life lately with some health issues and dealing with them has been challenging. But getting the new Holiday Catalog has so many great new products and has thankfully been a wonderful distraction. One of which is this awesome Christmas Quilt Bundle! I've been getting ready for my Catalog Launch Party this Saturday, Sept 9. My great friend, Michelle, came over last Saturday, we both needed some stamp therapy and she made a couple Christmas card with this bundle. So I decided to do a non holiday card! I have a cousin who makes beautiful quilts and runners. So this will probably be her birthday card. I did have one little tip for you. When you use the star Framelit, that does the stitching, make sure that you run this one through the Big Shot first. (I called this the Ninja Star since that what it reminds me of). To create the star you will need a 4"...
