2019-2020 Stampin' Up! catalog - Lots of new improvements!

Last Saturday, April 13, 2019, we had our local/regional Onstage conference.  Ours was in Minneapolis.  They had them all over!

The other five locations in the USA were Atlantic City, NJ; Charlotte, NC; Salt Lake City, UT; and San Antonio, TX.

Internationally there were 7 other locations, Quebec City & Vancouver, Canada; Dusseldorf & Munich Germany; Paris, France; Telford, UK and Tokyo, Japan.  The "Live" one that will be in our videos took place in Auckland, New Zealand.

The highlight of the event is always getting our greedy little hands on the new catalog! Believe me we pour over all the new products during the conference and then get to play with some of them too!

I can only show you the cover.  Only the demonstrators that went to Onstage have received the catalog this early the others will get theirs in May and customers will get theirs the end of May and can start ordering June 3rd or 4th, I believe.

There are a few changes to the catalog.
  • First you might notice the weight or thickness.  It is a little slimmer.
    • In some places the weight is an issue so they wanted under 500 grams/1 pound.
    • The number of products has been reduced with the focus on the more popular and on trend items.
  • Bundles: There is an index in the front of all the bundles with nice large photos.  (sorry can't show them to you)
  • Suites
    • Suites are now on 3 pages instead of 2, also with larger photos of the products.
    • There is one item number for everything in the suite, for those of us who "want it all".
    • The suites are sprinkled throughout the catalog.  I will list them at the end of this post and also list an index on my Cottage Lane Stamper & Friends Facebook page under files.  Here's a link for your convenience:
  • In Colors
    • The In Colors and Color Collections are on the first few pages of the catalog as well as where you would normally find them.
    • The color charts is are easier to read. The line for each color is highlighted in it's own color, so it's easier to follow along.
  • There is no longer a greetings index, where all the stamp sets with greeting were shown in photos in the back of the catalog. There is still an index of stamp sets.
  • The photos of the DSP, dies and embossing folders are larger!  Making it so much easier to see more detail.
  • There is no longer Big Shot, Big Shot accessories or Stampin' Trimmer.  Stampin' Up!© is in the process of replacing these and will be working with directly with the manufacturer.  This way we will have more control over the product.
These are just a few of the highlights.
