High Tide - Hope

Image
Hi!  Thanks for stopping by! Here's another one of my favorite products from the 2017 Occasions Catalog, well actually two!  One is the High Tide stamp set with the beautiful sentiments, sure to give anyone's day a lift, and the other is the new Watercolor Pencils that Stampin' Up! has come out with.  I understand that they had another set previously, before I became a demo.  I do have the Wondercolor Wonder crayons that were retired a while ago. I have a cousin that loves lighthouses!  So I thought, perfect for her next birthday!  Plus this will go well with a couple other sets that I have.  I love that we have sea gulls two ways, in the air and on the beach.  After I stamped lighthouse with Lost Lagoon (retired), I colored the left side with the Slate Gray colored pencil then used my Aqua Painters to blend the colors.  With the Watercolor pencils you can color them in the traditional way, or, as I did, use the Aqua ...

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while.  I think I got a little burned out from all the card making for Christmas. I hope you all had a blessed Christmas.  I spent Christmas Eve with my daughter and her family.  It was nice to be able to have dinner, hang out and go to Christmas Eve services with them.  There's been a bit a drama at my church, which I won't go into, suffice it to say a lot of people left our church.  I'm hoping when there is a new pastor to go back.  It warmed my heart to see my oldest grandson who is 10 singing his heart out to all the Christmas songs and have #2, who is 6, sit on my lap the whole service.  #3 was in the nursery.  So back to the subject.  January 4 our 2017 Occasions catalog goes live and along with that the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  If you are not familiar with this offering, for every $50 purchased from the Occasions catalog you can pick one free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalo...

Cookie Sheet of Gingerbread people - Cookie Cutter Christmas

Image
Hi Stampers! When I saw this card I just fell in love with it, it's so adorable!  But I'm a little prejudice, the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set is one of my favorite.  I think I've used it more than any other set this season. Once you have all the pieces precut out, it goes together very quickly.  These would make great invitations to a Christmas party too! The DSP is, again, my favorite out of the catalog, Candy Cane Lane.  I should have stocked up on it, now the supply is all out and I'm not able to get anymore. Sniff, sniff...  The strip on the side is 4" x 2" of DSP, your choice.  The bottom layer of the cookie sheet is Smokey Slate, 3-1/4" x 2-1/2", the silver foil piece is 3" x 2-1/4". I adhered these together with some Snail.  The handles of the cookie sheet are punched out with the 3/4" circle punch and adhered to the bottom of the Smokey Slate with a glue dot.  I stamped the gingerbread people on Crumb Cake w...
