December Stamp Class

Well it's been a while since I've talked to you.  I had a couple craft fairs, and also am dealing with some health problems, so it's been hard to do much of anything.  One of my friends ended up bringing my craft items to the fair where we were to share a booth together.

The next weekend I had another and through the grace of God, He gave me the strength to participate in this one myself, with some help from a couple angels.  One to help me unload and set up and another came just as we were closing and help me pack up.

Since I'm going to Mayo next week I ended up doing all my classes in one week.  My regular evening stamp class back to back with my Stamp-A-Stack class and then my regular morning stamp class the next morning.

These are the cards that we made in our regular stamp classes.

When I first saw the Half Full stamp set I already had "You've Got Style" and knew that I had to pair these two together.  The inside says "well if we run out of white, I'll drink red" along side the largest wine glass from the stamp set.  I saw this on a towel last Christmas in Joann Fabrics.

I also used the little tree from Oct. 2017 Paper Pumpkin.  The table is from "Ready for Christmas".  The sentiment is stamped in Basic Gray, as is the lady.  The sentiment is  punched out with the large oval punch and the large scallop oval punch.

I used Berry Bunch for the back layer and the  sentiment layer.  The tree is stamped in Old Olive and the table stamped in Early Espresso.  The lady and the table is colored with the Watercolor Pencils and then finished off with the blender pens.

I also used Wink of Stella on her jewelry and both the wine glasses. The sequins are from last year's Holiday Catalog.

Whisper White base 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", and 5-1/4" x 4"
Berry Burst Layer 5-3/8" x 4-1/8"

This card actually has been sent off to one of my dear friends, who I know will love it!

I didn't buy this bundle until recently.  I keep looking at it and just went for it.  I'm glad I did.  I have also made cards with the Framelits but this card is all stamped.  The stamp set is "Hearts Come Home".

The sentiment, Santa and smoke are all stamped in Smokey Slate. The stars and three of the houses are stamped in Dapper Denim.  The other two houses are stamped in Pool Party and the trees in Old Olive.  The back layer is Dapper Denim (5-1/2" x 3-1/2") and the card layer is Pool Party. The Whisper White layer is 5-1/2" x 3".

I stamped everything in this order:
  1. The middle house in Dapper Denim
  2. Then the two trees on either side of that
  3. Then the two houses in Pool Party
  4. Then the trees on the other side of that
  5. For the last houses in Dapper Denim I switched the houses
  6. Then the smoke
  7. Then Santa
  8. Then the sentiment
  9. Lastly a few stars in Dapper Denim

This is one of my favorite cards using the Colorful Seasons/Seasonal Layers Bundle.  The stamped leaves are in Marina Mist.  The lower leaf is a 2nd generation stamp.  Then the blue leaf is cut out with the Framelit.  The branch and the white leaf are die cut with the Framelits.  I used a retired  punch for the sentiment. I put everything together in this order.
  1. I used one of the retired doilies cut in half
  2. then the white branch, and put that down first
  3. then glued the Silver glimmer strip (1/2" x 4-1/2") on top of that,
  4. next the white leaf.  (I put adhesive strip on the back of both the leaf and the branch before I die cut them)
  5. Then the blue leave with Dimensionals
  6. Lastly the sentiment and a few sequins (from a Paper Pumpkin kit)

I hope you enjoy these!  Let me know if you have any questions.
