Coneflower Celebration Pop Out Card

A couple of days ago I posted a birthday card for my grandson on my Facebook group page.  I had seen this cute pop out card for the inside.  Unfortunately, after 5 hours of trying to adapt it to my card, I found out that it only worked for a card that was cut 4-1/4" x 11".  Mine was cut 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"

I still wanted to share with you this cute pop out card and incorporate it with the Coneflower stamp bundle. The coneflower bundle has two dies for the flower.  One embosses and cuts, this die does not coordinate easily with the stamp. To make it a fuller flower, cut two of these and adhere them together. The other die has two flowers connected together so the top one flips up.   You'll see what I mean in the video.  This die does coordinate with the stamp.  How you decide to do it is up to you.  You can leave the inside blank or stamp either the top or the bottom, once it is flipped open.

This was pretty much fun to make once I got the correct perspective on how to make a card in portrait style.

I love this coneflower, especially the die that cuts and embosses. I have seen so many different coneflowers on Pinterest.  I'm a little partial to the pinks.

Here is the video:

The dimensions of the card base must be 4-1/4" x 11".  From this point the orientation of your inside is up to  you, just turn your design one direction or another.

The Melon Mambo background layer on the outside is 5-5/8" x 4-1/8".  The white base layer is 5-1/4" x 4".

The mechanism for the inside of the card is:

Piece A: 1-1/2" x 9-3/4. Score this piece at 3/4", 5-1/4", 7", 7-1/2" and 9-1/4"

Piece B: 2" x 5-1/4, score at 1/2" and 4-3/4" (or 1/2' on each end)

Follow along with the video for putting the interactive part of the card together.

This is the bundle for the coneflower.  By buying the bundle you save 10%, plus you get all the fun pieces.
