Daisy Punch - Tips to make it easier to use

Image
Wow!  This Daisy Punch is so popular that it was being back ordered since it was available in June!  I actually won mine at our Regional Onstage so that was a bonus!  When I started using it, I was having problems with the paper getting stuck in the punch and I had so many to punch!  Then my friend and down line gave me a tip.  When removing the paper, remove it to the side, not the top.  What a difference this made.  Here is a little video I made to show you what I mean.     I also love how this coneflower turned out!     Whisper White: 8-1/2" x 5 -1/2" scored at 4-1/4", white panel 3-3/4" x 5" Fresh Florals DSP: 5" x 2", Scrap Berry Burst & Whsiper White cardstock for Ovals Berry Burst 5" x 3" to stamp and punch flowers     Here's a list of the supplies that I used:     ...

I know, it's still summer but we in the crafting world like to get  a jump on our Christmas card making.  Don't we?     Stampin' Up! has let us get an early sneak peak at one of the sets that is coming out in the Holiday Catalog that will go live September 1.  If you are one of my customers you should be getting your catalog in mid to late August. The set is called Carols of Christmas. S M L XL  It is a beautiful set with large sentiments that can become the focus of the card.  It is bundled with Card Front Builder Thinlits that can be used with the stamp set or all alone.  Simply gorgeous!  Love all the options that these two set offer.  Here are a few cards that I made with these two sets. S M XL L  This first card is a photo card. The green base with the photo uses the frame pieces. The vellum is stamped and heat embossed in gold.  I love the gold embossing!     S M L XL ...

It's been a busy week with card club classes and my middle grandson's birthday. We had our "date" yesterday.  I take them out for lunch, one on one, a movie and then they  pick out their birthday present.  I enjoy just spending time with them this way.  Hoping that they enjoy it too and like the special time alone.      This morning I rest.  With my chronic fatigue I have to  pace myself, and this week I over did.  So, as I'm laying in bed I came up with this design.   I used three stamp sets, Sitting Here ,   At Home with You and Thoughts and Prayers for the tree branches.  I love all things "beachy" so I was going for a beach cottage affect here.   I used Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip (for the chocolate lab of course) and Soft Suede for the Bench.  I also used a little Soft Gray for the shadowing under the bench.   I stamped the door ...
