BUSINESS LAUNCH PARTY!

Open house! Saturday, April 30, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at my house in Cottage Grove. When you RSVP I will give you the location details. We will be creating 2 cards! No experience necessary. Everything needed to make your creations will be provided.  All you need to bring is a smile! And you will smile.  We have so much fun when making cards. This is a great opportunity to check out our wonderful Stampin' Up! products.   I will also have samples of some of my other cards for you to look at. There will be drawings every hour, on the hour for free prizes. There will also be yummy treats. (Hoping I can talk my LeCordon Bleu Pastry Chef son to create something tasty for us!) Bring a friend! Safety First! Credit card with RFID chips

Watching a little TV I saw a commercial for an RFID wallet. Being a DIYer... Hmm, I thought, is there something that I have at home to make my own?  Not a wallet but maybe a sleeve instead?   After doing a brief internet search and I saw a wallet made with duct tape and aluminum foil and it said the important part was the foil lining. (I really don't want a duct tape wallet, I'd like to stay with my own, which ever one I'm using at the time.  I like to switch them up.)  Then I saw a sleeve made with a milk carton and foil and clear packing tape.  Again, not for me, but got the gears turning.   For a couple of Christmas bazaars I made gift card holders with my Envelope Punch board.  Well, why wouldn't that work!  So I went to my lofty craft room and gave it a whirl.  Here are the results!   (Sorry for the quality of the photos, my youngest grandson got a hold of my camera on Easter) ...
