 A few years ago a friend suggested making a gift box for hand lotions.  I couldn't find how to make one, like the image she sent me, but I did find this one and I think I like it better.  It fits the tube so nicely.  I also made three different sizes.  One for 2 oz., (sample/travel sizes), 4 oz. and 8 oz., like they sell at Bath & Body Works.  Here's the video that I made a few years ago, on how to create this bag.   Sample sizes of the gift bags, from small to large: 2 oz., 4 oz. and 8 oz.  I would recommend using a heavier Designer Series Paper (pattern paper).  The flowers are die cut from colored vellum (or you could color the back of plain vellum).  Anyone who places an order for $50 or more, from me, (before taxes & shipping) will get the kit to make the 8 oz. size .   I hope you enjoy this video.  Please like, share and comment to make sure that my blogs show up in your mail or feed.  Images:...

For the last 15 years I have been making these Mini CD Jewel case calendars.  These are the designs for this year.   For me coming up with designs are the most difficult part.  Sometimes ideas come to me in the middle of the night and everything goes smoothly, then sometimes it takes me forever to come up with a design.  This year I had the December design in my head before I even started January.                         For the first time I kept track of the amount of time and the supply costs. I always knew that if I charged my customers the labor involved no on would want to purchase my calendars, even if I used minimum wage as the labor cost.  Just the coloring along for October took me 8 hours.  Uffda!!!
